... The Christmas thing raised it’s head again as the Hotel played out a string of tunes over their jukebox while we sat around the pool scorching in the sunshine. ... and managed to soak up some rays when the sun eventually came out. Just one country left to tackle, a ten hour flight to the East; the USA. This would be the first time we would enter a time zone and be behind the UK. This would be a strange one as we fly out of Fiji on Tuesday night but land in LA on Tuesday lunch time even after a 10 hour flight.

... Fijians were rooting for France to win even though they didn't like France they just didn't want New Zealand to win... but they did for the first time in 24 years and they have been in the finals for about the last 10 years!!!
The day we left we left Fiji at 8:30 am and we were back in Brisbane by 9:30 am because of the time change! It was an absolutly amazing trip in a very unique culture and environment!
