    ... NY and had a wonderful lunch along the shore of Lake Erie. The water was a beautiful blue/green color and an old stone lighthouse was a short distance away. Did I mention the shipwreck?

    Passing through Pennsylvania and New York, the grapes were ready for picking and the 'cow' corn was being harvested.

    ... Can't wait to get home tomorrow and see our babies, I really miss the kitties! My mom took really good care of them so they probably won't care when we get home.     ... to a great night had by all. Our hosts, Conrad and RuthAnn and family, have lived in this idyllic little corner of the world for nearly 20 years.     ... the Rookie League Mets a couple of weeks ago; they were awful (mainly due to nothing whatever resembling pitching). Tonight's spectacle promised no better for the future of the Mets' franchise. Pitching tonight wasn't awful, except for one inning during which the Cyclones' pitcher couldn't find the plate with a GPS unit, but the hitting was beyond awful.
