I did not have time to finish my blog, so here is the condensed version of the last couple of days:
It has been a crazy busy few days. No time to eat or think. The sleep thing is getting better. Waking up at 5am instead of 4 is always good.

It's the dreaded medical day. No food or drink this morning, fasting time! Most of the candidates are weeded out at this step. The Chinese medical is at the level of astronaut! Blood, urine, EEC, EKG, eyes, ears nose throat, HIV, ...

... new word in Chinese today, 'Feng Le', which means 'Crazy'. This is the word he uses to describe the driving in Sanya, Hainan. On the way to Haikou, we were stopped at an intersection for a red light. There was a street cleaner in the center of the road who stepped in front of the stopped cars to sweep the street on our side. The motor scooters to the right of us were all going through the red light, crossing in front of us, to turn left. I asked Belinda if the scooters don't have ...

    Our Trip to Hainan Island

We are off for National Day so Belinda, Lewis, Joan and I decided to fly to Hainan Island. Hainan is considered the Hawaii of China. Many wealthy people from northern China vacation here in the winter. It is also the place where Belinda was born and where her parents live. We left Liuzhou about 9:40 AM. Our flight was uneventful, taking about one hour.

We arrived at the capital of Hainan which is Haikou. We are only going to spend on day ...
