Today I went to my second Buddhist Temple in Baoutou. It was the middle day of the month according to the Chinese calendar so there were many many people there. Apparently the first and middle day of each month is considered an espeically holy day. I even got to see the monks come through on their way to prayer, and hear some of their chants. It was very interesting and the sounds of their prayers very soothing. Tina's dad said he thought they were beautiful to listen ...
