... lie down before dinner. Here in Ko Lanta we are paying resort prices for our's funny how quickly we get accustomed to food prices. In Penang I paid $1Rm or.28 cents to add bok choy to one of my dishes which made the total cost $1.81. Here at the spa lunch was about 480 Bht or $15 (about 32 Bht per dollar) for the two of us, and I'm thinking wow, it's so expensive! We got to our hotel and were taken to our bungalow which looked quite nice!!! One minute from the restaurant and five minutes from the beach which we could see from our terrace area. We walked inside and it didn't match the beauty of outside!! It was pretty horrible! By far the worse ...

... holiday homes, meaning that the beach is pretty quiet. At lunch we stumbled across 'Bootshaus', a German restaurant just opposite our hotel. I couldn't resist the bratwurst and German bread... I think its safe to say that I always find the German restaurants wherever we are. Last night we went to have a look at the beach, and found a really nice little resort which does cheap mango juice with a great view of the sunset... so we chilled there for a ...
