... at all like you will find here in the heart of China. If you are anything like me and struggle to stomach large amounts of spicy foods you may have some troubles. ... t observe this same liking, because cold drinks are few and far between here. They like to drink warm drinks, no matter what meal and no matter what weather. Sure it may be 80 degrees outside, but doggone it the Chinese are drinking hot water and hot tea!

In an earlier post I mentioned my stay with Chen Min's auntie and my lesson on properly serving Chinese tea. Well, on Saturday this same Auntie invited us to return to Zibo ...

... I guess the misunderstanding about when I was supposed to leave was a result of being lost in translation, and I could tell that Chen Min felt bad about it. So I sucked it up and left Zibo......again.

The small town that Chen Min's aunt lives in was a very nice change from Zibo, and the house that I stayed in was actually the nicest of three that they own. Her aunt and uncle work for the government, so they are little more ...
