... waitress was trying to apologise to me. Before I went into the restaurant there were a couple of boys outside who said "Hello" to me and I said it back. It makes them laugh. I was sitting at my table in the restaurant and then their faces popped up outside the window and they waved. Then a peice of paper came up with "How are you? " written on it in beautifully script. At least it filled in a bit of time while I was waiting for my dinner.

There Has Been A Takeover
... English and for the kids to repeat and follow. This all went haywire as the person giving the demonstration just started and gave the instructions in Chinese. The kids enjoyed it but I am still wondering what it had to do with English. The best bit was the fact that I learnt how to make sushi - or a kids version of it anyway.I have never made it before or seen it made. It is a bit like spring rolls, you only put in what you like.
