This morning we woke up later than we planned and finished up packing odds and ends. We said our farewells to Bella and seriously considered puppy-napping her and stealing her off to Canada. With heavy hearts we got into the car around 11 and started our journey up north with multiple considerations of turning around and getting her. We took route along the coastline although you couldn't see much. There were a lot of cottages and cabins for the summer people. We got to a cute town Vermillion that had a beach access and of course a lighthouse. Terry was thankful that he didn't have to take me to every lighthouse for a picture like I did in ME. We stopped and enjoyed the view then drove down the road to Thomas Edison's birth home in Milan.
