Today we did a killer hike. By killer, I mean that tomorrow we will see who complains about their aches and pains more. We went from 4893 feet to about 6500 or so. The entire round trip was 7.5 hours.

We arrived at Interlaken on Tuesday afternoon. On the way we stopped at a little rest stop by Thunersee to sit by the lake, have lunch and soak up the atmosphere. The water is aqua blue and with a few yachts in the distance, the odd duck paddling past, a pair of dragonflies dancing around each other it was a pleasant way to pass the time.

... We got sandwiches, water and Pringles and ate a quick lunch at the rest area! Once we crossed into Switzerland, we traveled through the 2nd longest tunnel in Europe, it was almost 9 miles long.

We arrived in Lichtenstein about 11:30. We did quite a bit of walking. Not much else, time-wise or cost-wise. This country is very expensive. The country of Lichtenstein is only 60 square miles. ...
