This morning Graham and Christine (old family friends of the Eads) joined us for breakfast. It was a full house with Nicky, Ben and Abigail also staying. Poor Ben was all upset when he had to go off to school. Must have felt like he was missing out on all the fun. Nicky's 40th in Bath
... changed before people arrived at 7pm for drinks, nibbles and birthday cake at Geoff and Jen's. it was lovely to catch up with all of their old friends whom we used to know and still send Xmas cards to. The bubbly flowed, followed by singing happy birthday. Around 8:30pm all the women went out for dinner at the local Italian - Gigi's - which was superb. Steve and I went for a run this morning (7.30km). It's funny having three layers on, with long tights, gloves and a hat. Very pleasant out running in the fresh winter air.
