Zermatt does have some prettiness

... I was keen to get back to see my family room. Wow, what a
set up just for little old me! Have a look at the photos.

For dinner I followed the hotel receptionist’s
recommendation and went down to try a typical Swiss restaurant. It was full,
which maybe was fortunate as the prices were astronomical compared to Oz. No
main course was less than CH40.00 or $A 48.00 and most of them were lamb. If you
wanted beef, it was even more expensive.

For me, I have felt the Swiss roots the entire time i have been in Switzerland, I saw an elderly woman the other day that totally reminded me of my Grandma Dorothy that has Swiss roots. This woman had her dress on with a frock that covered her dress, and had the same dark suntanned skin that ...

Today we got up early knowing that it was supposed to be a sunny day. We caught the bus in to Lauterbrunnen, but once we got there, Anoop realized that he had forgotten his wallet. So we caught the bus back to camp, hopped off and then hopped back on again. Luckily it was only a 10 minute trip and the connections worked out for a quick turn-around. Once back in Lauterbrunnen we picked up our tickets to the top of the Jungfraujoch. Our passes covered us 100% up to ...

Fast train out of Paris. Arriving in Zermatt.

... had a little time to get coffee, pains au chocolats and some books and magazines for the long journey.

It is so nice to sink down into your assigned seat on a fast train to Lausanne! The Mins were happy and relieved at how plush it was with two comfortable seats on each side of a table. They had been worried that they were going to be spending four hours on an uncomfortable, hot, double-decker antique like the one that ...
