Another nothing town in comparison to the Austrian places on the Inn and Danube. Whilst there the sky became overcast and rain threatened. We cycled the last 5km to the campsite, arriving at ...

Pensions were no good for us as you generally can't get in early and it was not yet ...

It was interesting that just as went through Steckby just after 10am near the end of our days ride, a group of four females were leaving their pension to start theirs. Suddenly the breeze stopped and the sun came out and we had a lovely ride down to the ferry for Aken.

Syd found our campsite and we waited in the sunshine ...

... left. Gradually people left the site, we made and ate dinner and went to the loo. At 15mins past 8pm everyone had left leaving us totally alone at the campsite, except for another touring cyclist who had arrived at about 6pm. On checking the facilities hsd indeed been locked up so other "nature breaks" would have to be au naturelle. The night was very quiet and dark, with only a small light at the entrance to the site, but it was quite cold.
