I have to say I'm all sorts of confused with the time and the date. With my phone telling me one date but all of my online things telling me another, I'm lost! I am backtracking a bit so bear with me a moment. This morning I walked around China town and made my way to the Hyde Park Barracks which was (when built first) a sort of dormitory for the convicts who were transported here. It wasn't built until 1816 (have to check that). ...

Ferries run regularly from Circular Quay to Manly, Balmoral, Taronga Zoo, Cockatoo Island, Watsons Bay and more.

We made the 4 pm ferry with a few minutes to spare and my friend pointed out a lot of ...
... farm work after that. That plan changed pretty quickly!
After feeling pretty sad about the Australian road trip coming to an end, this softened the blow to say the least! Feeling in a celebratory mood we headed back into Sydney for a walk around the botanical gardens opposite the opera house and had a celebratory pint nearby. To sum it Sydney was very pricey, a busy business city, but worth seeing as another tick of the bucket list.
