    ... homely hostel, located in Potts Point which is close to some of the bars and clubs but not too close, and 20 minutes walk from the CBD, 30 minutes from the Opera House & Harbour Bridge. Tuesday 9th was a chore-based day: going to the bank and visiting the taxback office to see if I could claim back tax (I can't...long story that I won't bore you with).     We departed from Sydney Kingsford Smith airport at 6.45pm on Tuesday 28th April, stop over at Bangkok at 2.40am, on to Dubai for a 3 hour stopover at 5.45am, then we arrive at Barcelona Spain at 8.15am on Wednesday 29th April.. .

    ... is a stage set up on the edge of the Harbour for open-air performances. This year it is Aida and it must be a fabulous experience, provided it doesn’t rain of course. The sun was setting as we walked back towards Circular Quay and a beautiful rainbow appeared over the Harbour, which looked enchanting. We had a fabulous day with Elaine and Bob and we hope we will be able to meet up with them again if they visit UK in the future.

We had a wander through an aborigine bit and watched a film about them. We then headed out, had to stop in the gift shop, then left.
