    ... sally got lost, but worst of all with only 26 miles to go, standstill.
    Now here's where being on a bike helps, I went as far as i could on the left, before I had to weave to the right on a slip road, and then back to the left to go past what must of been about 3 hours of waiting, and it was really hot. Finally found why when I passed a broken down car on a really narrow bit of road, then saw the same queue coming the other way. I finally arrived for a late lunch ...

    ... the King's castle, in the drizzling then pouring rain! We trekked up the hill to the Neuschwanstein Castle in a buggy pulled by 2 powerful draught horses. We also walked through the nearby Hohenschwangau Castle built by Ludwig II's father (Ludwig II was responsible for the grandiose and unfinished Neuschwanstein or Disney Castle).     So off we go up the Romantic route to get to Wurzburg. We start off by visiting two spectacular castles neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau two very different but beautiful buildings high up in the Bavarian Alps. Unfortunately Mr T is not feeling great so after our trip to the castles a tough decision has had to be made - we need to hit the motorway and get to Wurtzburg. Sad but at the end of the day we have a lot of travelling ...

    So all packed up before the heat really set in and we are on our way. 4 hours to Fussen if we avoid the Toll roads. We really enjoyed Berau and the staff have been very helpful with our situation. We know there is lots more to do and see and you never know one day we might just come back and do some of it.
