... Boarded train to Zurich with Deborah. She needed to head that way to head home. We went that way because it was faster to go to Zurich and catch a train to Lucerne than to piece-meal it from Rapperswil at this later hour.
Goodbyes - Deborah exited just prior to Zurich.
In Zurich we walked around the train station and area in the wait time we had for the Lucerne train. T showed me the lake-water area and towards where he used to work.
... drove to Lucerne....the most visited city in Switzerland, the reason for this I don't fully understand. Then we went out for a meal and concert showing Swiss culture and food and this was a really great night out - very interactive, really great night....we had front row seats which was great but also can be dangerous and so Shirley had to get up at one stage and join some others doing the chicken dance....have movie to prove it.

All in all, I think we have done well and made the most of our first day. :) But lest you think that it was all sunshine and photo opps: despite my best efforts at trying to stay hydrated I've been dealing with dizziness most of the day, Bryan managed to scratch his eye which bothered him for a number of hours, my legs broke out in hives for goodness ...
