Stopped for a coffee overlooking the canal then having got our bearings (not me....I just follow whoever is in the lead) we returned to our hotel and met the contingent from WA. We enjoyed happy hour using our free drink vouchers and catching ...

... on the continent, with some very basic campgrounds costing as much as 30 euro, while others with excellent facilities only being 13-14 euro.

The route south towards Hamburg took us away from the coast, taking us through some really beautiful countryside and forests. A low point for the day was when we realised that a fair quantity of milk had leaked in one of our panniers, which made for a messy cleanup!

We planned to find some ...
