... One of the places we visited was the Cathedral, which I've seen plenty of times but we were very lucky the other day because it was actually open for the public to come and look at. Like most European cathedrals, it was just as amazing on the inside as it is from the outside. Dusseldorf is a very charming city, especially on winter nights when all the Christmas lights are up everywhere so Teri and I did a night time walk around the city. ... by cops. Turns out there was a very violent murderer trying to make his way to Dusseldorf yesterday so the cops were searching the train for him. I guess they found him finally. Pretty crazy stuff.

So now I am finally back in Dusseldorf and happy to be here. I can't believe I actually got "home-sick". When I got home nobody was here so I went to take a nap and woke up to find Kobi and Yael standing in my room watching me ...

Friday nights are a very important night for traditional Jews, we celebrate Shabbat which means that we have dinner as a family if guests are not here, if guests are here they eat with the family and I usually do my own thing. Before dinner is a song/prayer, then they wash their hands in a certain ritual, then they are silent, another blessing, then bread and "wine". There is ALWAYS fish on this night.

... last night and today we went to see the large mine that was once operating in Bochum. we went kart racing and had a barbecue with some of their friends to play games, eat, and have a party. today we went to the Chinese buffet and cleaned the place up!!! tonight we are going to a club for some drinks and dancing. so that is all of it for now, and we will keep you posted as we head to Cologne, Ulm, Munich and then Prague!!!
