We finally arrived into Raglan and pitched up our tent at a campsite close to the sea. Finally getting out far enough in the water to put the board down the next challenge was to get yourself and your board out far enough to catch a wave. This is not an easy task as the waves are crashing into you every 30 seconds, washing you back a bit each time whereby you have to quickly make up that difference before the next wave hits. The next day, having decided on which surf company we would get lessons with and failing to reach them all morning on both telephone numbers. We decided to walk to the shop. We walked out of the camp ground and straight into Maui Dolphin Day.
