Two of their adult children live 2 doors down and eat them out of food regularly. This house and apartment was built in 1863.. We all laughed at our own home being a mere 8 years old. By the way, get tickets online prior to the day - I walked right in; whereas, the people in line were outside for hours in the weather. I supplemented this tour with a 30 minute overview of Anne and her father's story prior to seeing the exhibits. Very good background, my only detailed understanding of her life was in watching the movie ...

They had a substantial collection of Rembrandt's etchings and several paintings. In addition to displaying his collection and some of his work, they have artists who demonstrate how he would have worked. We got to see how he would have mixed up paint and how he would have created a print from an etching.
