... were concrete/stucco. We walked along paved streets and along dirt roads, and would ya know it...we came to the bar from the night before. We had to go in and have refreshments. Two of us had Sturm, John had beer.

After a yummy breakfast, we were off to the grocery store for a few things and also to mail some post cards to loved ones at home. The poor women there had a difficult time figuring out exactly how to do that transaction. I don't think they get many people sending mail to the USA. Patrick said he won't be surprised if they don't show up. While at the store, one of the local soccer players was there...turns out, he's Christina's brother.

The Historical Instruments Collection is the world's most important collection of renaissance and baroque instruments. Many instruments that were played by famous musicians and composers are displayed here. John was blown away by the mandolins. We saw things we've never before seen or even heard of.
