... back to the hotel for a relax in the air-conditioning and then took a walk down Ocean Drive. There are over 800 art deco buildings in Miami - so many in fact that the place almost looks like a film set. The buildings are beautiful and the place is packed. The plan was to walk 1.5kms up Ocean Drive and around a couple of other streets and then take a dip in the ocean. We are staying near 4th ...

... lunch. The rain wasn't stopping anytime soon so it was back to the car and next stop was the Hard Rock Seminole Casino. I didn't go mad, I only had a wee shot on the slot machines, spent only $9. I'm saving it for Vegas!! Lisa however, won $70 which she was delighted with. Think I need some of her luck for Vegas. After the casino, seen as the rain was still pouring down, we headed back to the hotel for a couple of hours before ...

... br> Boarded Flight 1905 at Gate 43, a Boeing 737-400 from DCA to FLL. I took my seat, 23C, toward the back of coach. Then this woman with at least three kids and a husband asked me to change seats so some of them could sit together. A woman and her small child sitting in the middle and aisle seat ahead of me agreed to slide over, so I moved up to 22C. Ack, I’m surrounded by small children everywhere here in the back of the plane. I inserted earplugs and ...
