... The pizza may not have been the best I ever had, but definitely the best I ever had on Samui. So we will be back.
At the Antica Locanda there was this English chap sitting behind us, chatting to his wife and little kid back home via Skype. Every time he would talk to his little kid his voice would change into this high pitched old granny meets “Emily Howard character from the sitcom Little Britain” voice. Why is it that people do not use their normal natural voices when speaking to their little ones?

Got to bed quite late as I was busy setting up Skype with an unlimited plan, which means we can now call landlines in most countries for free via Skype (including South Africa), also cell phones in a few countries, one being Thailand (not South Africa though). Not bad.

Today was a very relaxing day.

... day go by. Paul made friends with a toad and a snail who he took off to find some food- what a lovely caring boyfriend I have!! At about 5pm we decided to venture into town to get some food- the rain was really coming down so we borrowed an umbrella. We found a Thai cafe that reminded me of street food- it was lovely!! We then had a little wander around the shopping centre which is only half sheltered. Where the rain was coming down so hard, ...
... as I am not in the hotel, but rather the condos. I finally contacted my Airbnb host and he has this settled... Or his idea of settled. Strut on the bus and if they give you a hard time, tell them to contact him. Not one for confrontation of any kind, this was not the answer I would have hoped for. But I practiced my strutting to the shuttle, and it must have worked as I got on with no problem! We headed to town and dropped me off at a point and said not to get lost and meet him ...

Zarzar the volunteer who organised the trip to the school and she explained how the children at the school come from very poor background, a lot of the children come to school having no breakfast or anything to drink in the morning and if they do eat it more often than not a chocolate bar and a fizzy drink from the local shop on the way in to school. She explained that she was finding it difficult to teach some of the children because they were so hyper on sugar in the ...
