We drive our mopeds to the Crystal Beach which is indeed a very idyllic spot on the island but it is not as deserted as we hoped it would be.       ... men pestering you every 5 minutes and lots of middle aged, fat guys with their newly purchased brides! So we were definitely happy with the beach we decided to stay on!       ... we headed, yep straight to the pool but this time we had the beach as well.....ahhh paradise. Grabbed some sun beds and chilled for a while. Swam between the pool and the beach, the beach was quite clean but like a hot bath, could not believe how warm the water was. Much nicer in the pool for cooling off.

      ... rice and vegetable fritters. The food was beautiful and there was plenty of it as they kept topping up the dishes as we filled our plates. Probably the biggest meal wed eaten since we began the trip!

      After lunch we had a quick stop at a Buddha statue, which was surrounded by the animals included in the Chinese calendar. Jo was born in the year of the dragon, and mine was the rabbit, so we had a few photos then headed back to the jeeps for the next stop. ...
