    ... met vitessen en 125cc dus iets meer geschikt om een berg op te rijden! Alleen kan ik ze nergens vinden in de verhuur... Na ongeveer 2h rondlopen aan de Westkust heb ik er eindelijk toch eentje gevonden dat dan uiteindelijk niet te huur blijkt te zijn... I've seen these mini-motorcycles driving around from Honda and Kawasaki who appeal more to me than the 99% of scooters they rent here.     ... but I think we dealt with ours pretty well. I think you have to accept the rough with the smooth and not feel pressured to go everywhere and see everything all the time because sometimes all you want to do is sit and watch the world go by.     ... scarcity of fish...apart from that it was great...sigh.. Like snorkelling at skeggie..The highlight was the lunch on this wonderful secluded cove... And then the obligatory snooze after.. Magic. It was fine,mainly because me and Aileen have the ability to be easily pleased with ordinary things... Although this does not include Aileen running in and helping a rather large Russian lady in distress in the sea... ...

    ... relax after Koh Phangan, but with Mojitos at 80baht each, its hard to resist. 'Sober In Samui' quickly became a failed plan and we visited a few more bars to make our way back to the hostel.We decided that as it wasn't really beach weather, there wouldn't be much to do the next day, so we booked onto an Island Safari tour for Friday so we could see some of the Island while we're here. With that in mind we headed back to our room praying for a drier day in the morning.
