American elderly gentleman while squeezed together like sardines on the Uptown 6 line tonight (don't I sound like a pro?), commented on my "accent" (Californians have accents?) and we laughed about the glee on the faces of a mother and daughter when their stop arrived and they rapidly and not too gently parted the crowd to get out.

    After our busy Saturday in the city we decided to have a more relaxed Sunday. We drove to Hoboken in the morning and spent some time in their library. Libraries have been great for us. They have free wifi, reasonably comfortable places to sit and we don't need to get all hopped up on caffeine to stay there for hours. They also have nice bathrooms usually so that’s a bonus.     Today I decided to be slightly Spectrum and walk the whole of Broadway; from Times Square right down to Battery. That's about 45 blocks, taking in Soho, TriBeCa and the Financial District...
