    Magnificent comes to mind when you see it. Many have seen it in movies and once more it comes to life when viewing it in real life.

    It was time to leave the Big Apple, and head to quieter surrounds. Our next stop is Connecticut.

    ... got distracted and it took me at least twice that time. On the way there I detoured by the Roosevelt monument and the Martin Luther King monument. Then when I was taking pictures of the Jefferson memorial from across the water I saw a heron tucked around the corner almost out of sight. He was a beaut.     After our busy Saturday in the city we decided to have a more relaxed Sunday. We drove to Hoboken in the morning and spent some time in their library. Libraries have been great for us. They have free wifi, reasonably comfortable places to sit and we don't need to get all hopped up on caffeine to stay there for hours. They also have nice bathrooms usually so that’s a bonus.
