      ... for food.

      After catching up with our facebook and email messages we headed out to dinner at a Sangria Bar/Cafe. Happy hour special was buy one Margerita and get on free so we all ordered one. They were huge, probably 1 litre. With that and a burritto (for me) and fajhitas (for Mat & Denise) we were well fed & watered. We sat for a while and watched the passing parade of people, cars and motorbikes then headed back to hotel.

      ... to sleep on the beach. Great news for the "no-seeums" who spent the whole night dining on him.

      The next day was spent trying to contact Spicer to see if he was ok (he was) then a night on the town which ended up in Bobby's Monkey Bar. Unfortunately the lovely Miss Elaine is away in China with Shawn, so I didn't get to see either of them :(

      Following morning, I went for a walk around the marina, and had breakfast at The Conch ...

      ... and neighborhoods on the mainland and oohed and ahhhed at the beautiful homes. We spent a pleasant Easter Sunday dining with friends. We even took time out to tour Vizcaya, John Deering's remarkable tropical estate now turned into a museum for the public. (It is a work of art, on scale with any of the grand estates of the early nineteenth century). And each night, we made use of that incredible hot tub, with its waterfall and view of the ocean.
