Under the Tuscan clouds, yes that's right the sun is a rare thing here, at least during winter. In fact, Italy is just a very wet place in the winter; it rains everyday and night for varying times. Up early...Body can't take much more. Please let me get off the merry-go-round, the body wasn't designed to get up before the sun come up!!! We travelled from Rome to Florence. On the way we stopped for lunch at Sienna, where they have the famous horse race around the cobbled city square. Really enjoyed the walled city and beauty of the countryside. Then onto Florence, where we got to see Michelangello's statue of David...just ...
