... at our B&B about 3km outside Florence by lunch time and were pleased to be able to check in and leave the car and hop on a speedy bus into the centre. We looked at the queues and decided to buy a 3 day Florence Card which gets you into all the museums for a bit of discount but best of all you can skip the queue, hooray. Unfortunately the card is administered by the cousins of the useless people who run the Italian PTT so it was hard to find where to buy it, how it worked ...

... based on himself. The Baptistry doors were impressive and so was the restoration of them that they showed. We then decided to climb to the top of the dome for the murals and the view. Sadly there was now a screen so it was harder to take photos.

... was cool with it and with going to Rome...it was on his list. I also figured that we would have ended up there either way....just a bit quicker now.

So time to explore..off we went....I figured wee needed to see the cathedral.....and funny thing the assasin's creed game helped me as i recognized key land marks because of the game.....the lo and behold there it was......the cathedral......OMG it is crazy cool..... we took the token pics.....and then ...
