Okay, I know I skipped yesterday, but once you read this you will understand why. We left Weatherford yesterday morning about 9:30 and proceeded west before we could turn south. We decided to take 281South instead of dealing with I-35, but first we had to go west on I-20 for about five miles. ... with the Capitol tour we walked north about five blocks to the Texas Museum which is outstanding. The history of Texas is amazing with land grants, cowboys and Indians, war with Mexico, Civil War, Oil Boom, etc. We spent over three hours in this museum and that was going through it quickly – you could spend a week in the museum.
Headed back on bus 30 to our campground and then rode some of the bike trails ...
