          ... the banks of the Sandy in 1805. At that time the river ran gritty with ash from the 1802 eruption of Mt. Hood.

          There will be so much to discover! The Gorge has 16 plant species found nowhere else and over 150 rare plant species. The area is rich with animal life. This combined with historical monuments, waterfalls, incredible vistas! I can hardly wait!

          ... Sue, Sam and I drove around to a massive park and out came the Sherrin for a few dobs...... end to end. I haven't kicked the footy since Sam was 15 so it was a rusty start. But it wasn't too long before I was dobbing a drop punt 50m and the odd "Screwy" 60m. I even got the checkside working. It rekindled a few memories for me, 30yrs ago when I was in my prime!

          ... get to eat around 2:30-3:00"! I go back to the car, get the folding chairs and we sit down for a very entertaining afternoon.           ... up going to Chupacabra Cantina, which was an ok choice; there wasn't anything special about this place, but I enjoyed my meal and it was good enough! :) Needs a good cleaning though.
