We are in Germany!! Left Saturday morning for Cleveland Hopkins Airport, parked car at the Day's Inn and took the shuttle to the airport.

... On the subject of signs, it's very pleasing to see very few traffic or other signs around, no sign clutter!! There's a lot to like about this part of Germany, the people are helpful, friendly, courteous to cyclists and go quietly about their work. The only downside I can see is their smoking habits, everyone smokes! There are cigarette vending machines in hotels, in the streets and even the side of the road, a pack of twenty costs ...

It was a good day for driving. It was quiet on the road so we made good time and drove further then we expected to. We left Utrecht at 1 pm and we arrived in Hengersberg at 7.30 pm.
