It was overcast and cold in the morning. After breakfast our city tour started at 9 am. We took a bus over the old bridge stopped to take pictures the old bridge. Napoleon built the bridge after he got tired of the the ferry drivers to being his troops over to the other side. We rode though the city and got off in the pedestrian area. ... the bus and the tram out to the airport our first day there. We wanted to see if we could check in our bike boxes the day before as we had a previous frustrating experience in Paris trying to get a taxi large enough for the bikes and our flight from Bordeaux is ungodly early, so there would be no room for screw-ups.
