... good views and ended up at some random Greek tavern with the classic tomato and soft cheese salad. The beach we found was pretty rural and windy but a good place to free the nip. It was nice as well to do the bikes and have some exercise, I think I miss exercise, is that a thing?! The boat was hilarious. It was just me and Eavie who did it because it was €45 for the day which was pretty pricey but we just thought yolo. It was pretty chilling, we stopped off at some caves ...

... water was incredibly calm, leaving my thoughts crisp and undistorted. Then I called the Yacht service in Parikia again, around 9:15---now past the time that we had been expected there. A familiar voice answered and quickly realized what I had called for. It was Michaelis, and he was happy to hear that we were close by and told me to sit tight---they would come and help. ... other single travelers (mostly people there with one other person) so I didnt have a group for the first time this trip which would have made things a lot better. I kind of bounced around the various people I met and decided to grab my camera. By then Ios had come alive (maybe 1/130).

En route I ran into a single traveler who was also American and we decided to bar hop.The first bar we went to was called Slammer's and is probably the most ...

... down to the port. At the moment I am at the port having a drink and am dreading the uphill back home. I went to an area called little Venice( I think every town has one of these) which has a lot of shops. I then went towards the sea and found a " beach" which is really a concrete slab where one can jump off from into the sea. It is in a little cove so much more wind sheltered than anywhere else. The water is see through and an amazing colour and not too cold- only put my feet in. ...
