    ... for awhile and found the coastal path called Camino de Ronda from the email. We followed it to a 'Secret Cove' called Cala El Golfet. Well the word must have got out as there was hardly a scrap of stony beach to put our towels down but by this time we were so hot we muscled out a patch for our bag and towel and literally threw ourselves into the water.     A M ventured to Cadaques to tour Dali's house . After seeing museum and house I am now an official Dali fan ( wasn't before) Picnic on the way to Girona by way of lovely town of Besalu, and a swim at Banyoles. Stayed 2 nights at Pension Bellmirall .Tapas & Rosata for dinner. Breakfast on patio.

    ... trucks. We are sitting in the lobby debating start times for tomorrow which is forecast to be another hot day. Our final day is another 115 Kms. Another story which I introduced yesterday is the dog. Apparently no owner could be found. Caroline has had the dog immunized against rabies and booked him a place on our flight, so Tom is going home with a new bike and another dog.     ... curves - so annoying! Once we crossed into Spain the road became smoother, and the climbs seemed steeper, but the corresponding reward was long, sweeping downhills that were a joy to sail through.     ... and generous as anyone, but then there's too often the exact opposite. So we will try again tomorrow, down the road.

    It was a quick trip down the highway to Girona for Caroline, Lucie and Arthur so they enjoyed lunch and an afternoon of visiting the old town in the centre of Girona.
