Took the tollway from Barcelona through rolling terrain, part rural, part industrial, towards Girona. Loved the look of the smallish Mediterranean pines that predominate in this area. Sad to say goodbye to Tossa- last look in the morning light and in the car for the "short drive" only 110 klms to Cadaques. Google doesn't account for the sign for the tollway becoming the regional road - even when we turned back ????
