    ... the beach. The beach was covered by these strange, chair-like structures which we soon realized are mini beach 'homes’ that can be rented for the day. They provide space for two to sit, a cover to provide shade and a lock to keep valuables safe while you swim. We didn’t rent one (though they were very popular with the locals) but will know next time to be ready to rent and make use of one.

    ... and included some very enjoyable conversation with our tablemates and lots of time to savour and enjoy each course. At the end, we got a signed (by the chef and sommelier) copy of the Royal Caribbean cookbook including many of the recipes of the meals served on board. Overall it was a really nice experience.

    We've just spent two days at sea. We slept for 14 horus a day, ate pizza for eight hours a day and the rest of our time was spent poopin' or taking photos of the ocean. I guess this is what holidays are all about.

    We deleted all of the 'at sea' photos - we never want to be reminded of that time again. The attached photos are general left-overs from other places we've visited.

    ... and dinner. Just out of interest the boat has literally a handful of native English speaking people, with the vast majority speaking German. Whenever they make an announcement it German 1st, then English, French and Italian. Man they can speak fast. We then congregated in the theatre to hear the personal greeting by the captain. Not very inspiring. Neither was the 1/2 hour show they put on. We all agree that we have been spoilt ...

    ... Of course since the port was rather small, not only us passengers were wondering how we were getting out of there but the townspeople also. What a maneuver! First the ship moved sideways away from the pier, then forward about 2 ship length, then put the gear into the reverse and found a big enough space in another canal to turn the ship ...
