... without sauce. Ruby then had a wonderful mischievous plan to get us some. She had stayed at a different hostel a couple of nights before, and knew the door code to get in. This hostel had a communal kitchen and she had a feeling it would have tomato sauce in the fridge. Amazingly, it did. Her and Darcy come out from the building with a whole bottle of ketchup. WINNING!!!! It made our night. Couldn't believe our luck. Ruby saved the night. We decided to keep the sauce and ...

... has come to? I understand the precautions, as we know, there are sickos out there, but really. A very short drive to the next town of Donji Humac, a nice church and views of a white stone quarry. After a few drinks on the boat (which were ...

... we stopped somewhere for a swim in a pretty coastal bay and the water was beautifully refreshing. We were eager to get start our tans as well. We all enjoyed jumping off the boat into the water! Unfortunately, we were not able to grab a spot on a white water rafting trip as the trip filled up from all the other Sail Croatia boats. Shame really, as that was an activity we were all looking forward to.

We arrived in Omis and the word to describe ...

... rewarded with views of Hvar Island, our next stop. There are many other islands in the distance. We can see Bol and the Zlatni Rat below us. This is where we are heading for lunch. It is cool up here at the highest point in the Adriatic Islands, 778m. Surrounded by pine trees and the rocky outcrops, it feels more alpine than sea resort. A long and switchback windy road takes us down to the seaside resort town of Bol. We idle the car while tourists stand gob ...
