Tally writing... The next day we decided it was time to move on and head into split for the day, Chris and gog were going to so we decided to all go out for the day! We all drove to the only campsite and split...and being the only campsite they could charge what they liked!! Ģ40 for one night! Are you having a giraffe...? Anyway we thought at least it'll be a nice site. Like heck it was...we do NOT recommend this site! I haven't really slated anything ...

... has come to? I understand the precautions, as we know, there are sickos out there, but really. A very short drive to the next town of Donji Humac, a nice church and views of a white stone quarry. More importantly, this is the home of a semi-famous restaurant, featured in People Magazine. Supposed to have great lamb dishes, and it did, the bread was good, the olive oil was the best we have had since Italy, and the House Wine was the best ...

... town that looked either ruined by time or war and then deserted. I would like to find out more about the recent history of the area. We also had to pass through border control twice as the bus intersected the Bosnian border. Lucky we had both passports on us as no one told us we needed them.

A final stop was made in sleepy Slano, where we prepared ourselves for the tourist-heavy Dubrovnik. Leaving our crew and our pirate ship behind, we returned to dry land full of reasons you should visit the Dalmatian coast.
