    We drove nearly two hours in fog from Eugene through the North California mountains - beautiful scenery when eventually the sun came through.     ... likely to get killed by a man in uniform we call cops than some "terrorist". But I digress...

    Anyways the flight was smooth and offered some great views. Mostly in CA all that was viewable was a smog layer over the Central Valley. Though had great views of the Cascades from Mt. Shasta to Mt. Trainer. Sitting on the left side of the plane at a window seat was great!
