... hotel, the Rodos Palace. This seaside resort is a large convention hotel. We were lucky to be booked into the executive wing of the hotel and while it is a bit longer walk to the bars and restaurants it is a quiet sanctuary in this very busy place.

We had a short time to unpack and rest before we joined our group (and MANY other groups) for a buffet dinner. Unlike the meals in Turkey I found ...

... but now we were able to see much more as Eric was now on his own feet. It was really fascinating and the old harbor absolutely beautiful with the green and turquoise colored water. Tomorrow I fly from Rhodes to Athens and into the madness of city life... I wonder if it can handle ...

Had a wonderful afternoon in the big city. Checked into our hotel, near both the port and the old city. Walked through Freedom Gate into the old city and had a delicious lunch at a place Mikhali Melenos had recommended. After lunch, Helen & Shelley went to the ...

... cheap. A bottle of water was €0.50 and a mixed grill sit in was €10. That a T-Shirt for €10 and the two attractions is all I've spent on what has been an incredible day. They do it with a smile. I'm heading to Lindos tomorrow which is more of a beach like place to rest my weary ...
