as i sat in my hotel in the small town of sinouli, a well known border crossing with india, feeling bored and a little out of place, i realised that as i was crossing into india today, now would probably be the time to reminisce a little about my stay in nepal.
so after a little searching, i found sinouli's only internet cafe, and am now almost certainly sinouli's only white man (apart from briggs) sat at its only public computer.
i'll pick up pretty much where i left off, in kathmandu....

I'll get to the title of this blog later... firstly, ill start of with our last day in pokhara, nepal, just after my last blog. The following day (15.12.08) we did a fair bit of shopping and visited an orphange, the 'Namaste childrens home' in the afternoon which was really fantastic. The people there were happy to show us around and let us play with the kids for an hour of two.. couldn't believe how tidy their rooms were, nor how good at tabletennis they were aswell.. even though i was dead ...

We're back in Delhi. After taking an afternoon train from Agra to Delhi, we checked into a dive of a room in the delightful Vivek Hotel which is located in the heart of the seedy traveller's hub of Paharganj. Worst room in the best hotel and a good choice because the chefs there made gorgeous salads and we could do yoga on the rooftop before the kitchen opened in the mornings. Arrived in Delhi yesterday morning and found a hostel on the Main Bazaar. It's a perfect location but the room is a bit below my standards which you all know I have very low standards when I travel. Matula, it's definitely no St. Christophers! How's Dublin by the way? I think I'll move to a room with air-con tomorrow which seem quite a bit nicer. Delhi, delhi, delhi....... A city more popularly associated with a gastro-intestinal infection and unscheduled bathroom trips than anything else. Hi everyone, here is the latest from the road... I ended my Nepal trip with three days at Chitwan National Park, a safari park located in the southern region near India. I came with the intention of seeing some wild tigers and rhinos (they're rhinos...) but all I got on my day-trek was a family of monkeys trying to pee on me from the tree tops.
