    Next day we continued north, with a visit to the patriotic pilgrimage town of Kruje, where the castle is a small walled area featuring a museum dedicated to Skanderbeg, a 15th-century national hero who held out against the Ottomans.     ... start to make the most of the calm conditions which would blow in overnight so I hit my bunk early again leaving the others to chat in the saloon.

    ... of tumbling sideways and dying so I felt compelled to go back down, but all in all it was good fun.

    Aside from that, there was lots of lingering in restaurants and a bar, walking, enjoying the city, and hanging out. I guess there really wasn't that much to today really, but it was just a lot of fun. And the pale white cement dust in my jeans is proof.

    ... itself is fabulous, it just needs some renovation and a purpose. To place it in Dublin or London would render it iconic, though I guess Albania has so few western ties that something as awesome as a concrete disco pyramid could easily go unnoticed.

    We didn’t have much of a plan for the day, Tirana doesn’t seem to cater to tourists, much like the rest of Albania, so there wasn’t much to do except people watch and explore the city. We again ...
