We left the highway and stopped at the only 'shop' in a village. ‘Sale of Foodstuffs’ would have just about summed it up but it had fresh (too fresh to cut) bread, cheese and a very odd soft sausage, which was very tasty but I have no idea what I ate! ... Here you can see the Roman Gate that is also known as "Cleopatra's Gate" and sometimes referred to as "Gate of the *****". Why? Who knows.

Actually, having seen the city, I would have chosen a different spot to visit as there was really little to see here. However, if you are interested in religious relics this might be up your alley.
