I saw similar if not the same items for sale in San Jose that I could have bought for a fraction of the price in Costa Rica and San Juan Del Sur. When I told the shopkeepers that their price of $100 + was too much and that the same item elsewhere is sold for $35, they did not blink an eye nor say a word … they knew … they are just waiting for the fish to come to them and take ...

... choice. We were able to use amenities, eat and/or drink at sister resorts; the Sunset, Blanco and Rose in addition to Pacifica. Blanco and Rose were downtown and butted up to each other. Pacifica and Sunset were next door but not walking distance. A shuttle was readily available to take you back and forth between any of the resorts. ... looking at the belly of my first one and the slippery sucker jumped right out of my hands! I was met with a great big gasp from the crowd along with some looks of disapproval. I may have given mine some brain damage as it began to walk AWAY from the ocean but it was ultimately swept away by the tide.
