We got off at a beautiful cathedral and walked a few blocks to the St Catherine's St shops where we found and Orange store to buy chips and airtime for our phones, a few very nice little pastries at a pastry shop, and Bistrot Edouard at Place du Parliament for dinner. ... ready to crawl, and have now returned to the hotel where we will have a quick dinner and get some sleep prior to the start of cycling tomorrow. Tomorrow is a relatively easy day of 111 km with little climbing (yay!). The forecast is ok for the morning but thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. Steve and I are planning to start early early to try to avoid at least some of the rain.
... or so. Not very busy as I walked in. Very cute waitress who didn't speak English, she got the guy who spoke English a little. Ordered salad with tomato and lettuce and mozzarella. In Marken we found lots of sheep and a closed clogs store, which was immensely disheartening.
