    ... been naughty taking their photo but they were enjoying life so much I couldn't resist. Its been a lovely day and at the moment Kerry is chief chef and has made rissoles without flour, as we have none and has just had to make do with whats in the cupboard. He has done a fine job. I have to tell you about French supermarkets. I start to salivate as I enter as there is so much choice and its all so delicious. So many cheeses, meats, salamis, ...

    ... F Kennedy Blvd to the nearest stop on the tram A line which took us downtown. We got off at a beautiful cathedral and walked a few blocks to the St Catherine's St shops where we found and Orange store to buy chips and airtime for our phones, a few very nice little pastries at a pastry shop, and Bistrot Edouard at Place du Parliament for dinner.     ... ready to crawl, and have now returned to the hotel where we will have a quick dinner and get some sleep prior to the start of cycling tomorrow. Tomorrow is a relatively easy day of 111 km with little climbing (yay!). The forecast is ok for the morning but thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. Steve and I are planning to start early early to try to avoid at least some of the rain.

    ... or so. Not very busy as I walked in. Very cute waitress who didn't speak English, she got the guy who spoke English a little. Ordered salad with tomato and lettuce and mozzarella. And then spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil. Ordered a local beer too, good stuff. Cheaper than that imported ****. Came with lots of parm and pepper. Place got super busy by the time I left.     ... infatuated with the food. We eventually proceeded onwards and made it into two antique shops and found a windmill and some nice stretches of water. In Marken we found lots of sheep and a closed clogs store, which was immensely disheartening. That night we went out to this jazz bar which was a riot, we ordered ordered a few (expensive) beers and listened to some quality music.
