Todat we had breakfast at 8am and following breakfast we had a guided walking tour of Passau.
The tour started at 9:45am which included a walking tour of this historic town.

Watched several people in canoes go down this river, there was a type of weir at edge & several people fell out, walked up to the castle stopping at the old draw bridge as it is now a home for a few brown bears & one came out to play, the village is on 2 banks of the river, streets are narrow & cobbled, lovely to see.

Our second home exchange was in southern Bavaria about 125 kilometres from Munich for 2 weeks. Penny joined us in a large house set in an equally large wooded garden. Pfarrkirchen and other towns in the region are really nice, Passau being my favourite. The buildings are mostly painted pastel colours.

What an awesome day!!!! Carole and I got to teach the students at KuMax and Waria Ward about our schools in Cleveland, and about what it is like to live in Tennessee. Some classes even got up and danced a line dance to Rocky Top Tennessee!! We gave out 60 t-shirts from Walker Valley ...
