... the hotel shop and tried to pay in Panamanian coins. Then it occured to me that I’d probably left the part of the tip for lunch in Balboa as well, so walked back and gave the waiter some US currency to compensate.

The tour bus picked me up a little after 1pm. There were half a dozen people already on the bus and I was the last pick up. The drive to the Everglades took about an hour and the scenery was uninspiring, but they showed an episode of the Animal ...

... the broad walk for some snacks. Once I got into the room, I had a quick shower and thought I'd have a short nap. I woke up after 6pm. There was not much to do, so I got a giant burrito for dinner and had a nice cold can of Dr Pepper on the beach, listening to the waves crashing and watching the clouds in the sky salute the sun goodbye with their change of colours.

On Monday morning, at 6.45, we were picked up by the bus that was going to take us to Key West. ... house for 9 guests. Cost him $3000 apparently. I helped the chef and served the guests. We were done by 23:30. Long day but a great experience! And to add to the good day, I found out that I GOT THE JOB! So excited. Saturday Captain John fetched me and I started to work on my boat, a brand new M/Y Island Cowboy 65' Hatteras. I love working on the boat. I started detailing all the cabins. There is a master, VIP, twin and double cabin all with en suite heads (bathrooms). ...
