... have had. It passed eventually and we continued on. However we did later realise that there was a mini tornado nearby and we had just hit the outskirts. (Phew) I am hoping that after two more weeks left in the South that we will be away from Tornado and Hurricane possibilities. Apparently California is lovely weather. Mid 20s and not humid. Right now it is 32 and humid! So we arrived in Charleston later on that evening and were due to spend the next three nights there! (To be ...

A quick blog today. I will add to when I have more time. At this stage all I will say is that we are late in due to horrendous traffic on various interstates. It has been very hot and humid so need a drink and some food. I will catch up with you ...

On a lighter note, we are traveling with Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives. It's fun to find his funky food recommendations throughout the country. His choicest places are definitely not "5-Star Restaurants" or so-called "chains" but, rather, joints that specialize in scratch-made, delicious comfort foods, prepared by homegrown restaurateurs!

... Ible's family. All food was home made and extremely delicious. Ible's mother's cooking skills knows no bounds indeed. Despite not being with my own family and friends, I am thankful that I was able to spend it with some pretty awesome people. Ible's family has been a delight to be with and we have had some fun times since being here, but our time to leave actually is just around the corner. Tomorrow, I will ...
