Made it into Macon as darkness was descending and after checking into the Baymont Inn & Suites walked to Marguerita’s Mexican Grill for what else - margueritas and dinner.

We saw close up buildings, equipment and people who worked the land - one guy was 90!

There was a costume contest, and both Malorie and the boys came in 2nd. Malorie lost to this amazing chick dressed a Mystique... or not so dressed as the case may be. The boys lost to a lesbian couple dressed a Jon and Kate plus 8... she had the bad hair and 8 baby dolls sewn to her clothes.

In a nice RV park tonight, about 40 minutes south of Atlanta, and it's a real pleasure to have windows open, instead of needing the furnace!

We’ve had time for the news to sink in and start thinking about what we’re going to miss about Georgia (and America), the things we’re running out of time to do before we go, and about the culture shock we’re going to experience as we learn to adjust to life in a foreign country.

Motel 6 off the I=75 at 8.30. Checked in and then hit first fast food joint. chick fil-a for some deepfried chicken and a couple of bottles of Bud Light from the service station back in the room.

Jetlag kicked in at 4.30. nice. On the road at 7.
