Today we woke up early and got to the San Diego zoo at 8:30. We bought our tickets and waited for the zoo to open. We took the orientation bus ride around the park before we set off on foot. The zoo is beautiful from the animals to the trees, flowers. The highlight was the Pandy bears and new Koala bear exhibit that opened today. ... what all the fuss is about! Driving into Los Angeles we stopped and had Japanese curry in Little Tokyo, delish ! Fighting through the traffic (that comes standard when doing a trip into L.A apparently) we made our way onto Hollywood Boulevard to get the mandatory photos of the Hollywood sign and the stars on the pavement.
