We're in Sapporo now and it's absolutely amazing. However the hostel is charging ten yen per freaking minute to use the internet - which adds up to roughly $10 AUD an hour. We left for Asia on Tuesday night (9/12) at 11pm from JFK airport and arrived in Sapporo Japan on Thursday (9/14) at 3:30pm. The overall travel time was ~28 hours (!!!) with the time difference being 13 hours ahead of EST.
