      And so my first contract teaching in Japanese Junior High Schools has come to an end. It has been a blast. That's an understatement. It's been the best experience of my life. I haven't even considered it to be a job really. I take each day as it comes and revel in whatever Japan has to offer me.

      So finally yesterday was my last day at Hiraoka Chuo JHS. Previously in August and September I had taught at Inaho JHS and thought it to be an absolutely wonderful school. ...

      ... came up to me and gave me 3 CD's. We'd spoken previously about music we liked and we both have a soft spot for bands like Led Zep and The Chili's.       ... couch with body aches and a sore throat. Who knew that all of my Halloween prep would be in vain because we never did get to celebrate once the plague hit.
      Friday I slept a ton and still had the sore throat. Sarah was about 12 hours ahead of me in the illness and said she was feeling better and hope was in sight. By Saturday the body aches had subsided but I still had a really sore throat and my nose started to run. By Sunday my throat stopped hurting but ...
