As I was leaving my vice principle said he was getting the same bus as me as he was going to Nakajima Koen (where I live) for a vice principle meeting. Quality bloke. Ex-gymnast, ex-ski instructor and current bike marathon participant. He broke his knee doing a backflip on a ski jump 27 years ago. Ouch. Anyway we were talking about all ...

I should know better at this point, but was still caught off guard that there was just a thin layer ...

... the ground. I made sure to wear my shoe spikes because some of the sidewalks have been left to ice over and I am trying to prevent my first fall of winter for as long as possible. This was our third visit to the market. The first time was just a breeze through on our way to dinner. Then we went on Sunday when it was snowing pretty hard, which made for a nice experience. Tonight we happened to go when there was a full moon behind the T.V. tower, which was very beautiful. Because ...

... so. I caught a ride on the on ramp that lasted for about 2 hours. It worked pretty well, at the rest stop I met a businessman for another two hours. At the last stop, I met a young couple on their honeymoon who took me into Kyoto and to a little youth hostel I had heard about. Kyoto, I was here only for two days but I would make the most of it. My luck was so good, the place had one room left, on the ground floor. It was dark outside, I couldn’t see much of Kyoto but I would the ...
