It took about 40 minutes to reach the bay where grey whales were spotted and after 5 minutes we were rewarded by seeing the blow jet and then the ridged backs of a pair of whales. On the way back we spotted both seal and sea lions. It was a great night made better by a treat at Chocolate Tofino who make the world's best handmade chocolate and ice cream! Time to pack up again before bed ahead of our next leg of the holiday to Vancouver ...
