Lovely pool, adequate facilities, good location

My wife and i and two children 13, 10 loved it, situated in campo de golf, we all like our swimming pools and this was a special feature of the complex. The pool was cleaned every morning and the tiled area around was cleaned with a motorised polisher. The sun loungers are plentyful but a little uncomfortable because they have a fixed incline at one end. The apartments are quite basic usual sofa bed with pullout bed under, matrass on beds a little hard (budget type), showers ok but have a mind of their own sometimes hot sometime cool. cleaned at leased 4 times a week and the linen twice a week, towels changed regularly. The staff were friendly and only too happy to help. The entertainment was a little slack to be honest, but it was easter and it was surprisingly quiet for that time of year, but so was the whole island. The acts that visited were pretty good and we all had a good laugh with everyone we met, that includes all nationalities. There is a supermarked on the complex and another 2 minuetes away both with very similar prices.Faro 2 shopping complex is a short 10 min walk with an abundance of shops and bars to choose from. Taxis very cheap 2 euros to kash bar, yumbo etc but hang on tight because those merc's can really motor. beach 2kms, maspolomas dunes fantasic. try los angeles bar wembly bar and floras bar in playa del ingles centre not chinese buffet though lots of flies on food and buffet sits there a long time. look for sand sculptues they are worth a photo and some loose change. Fun fair close by with bowling alley, waterpark closed down but larger one a taxi ride away, check this is fully open as the best rides were closed at easter due to reconstruction work and no discount offered. Soux city worth a visit try to get cheap tickets. We were told by friends we met that jeep safari was good fun. Beach brilliant, sea nice, nudist section on beach but you are warned as you apprach by signs. Overall very good location, lovely country, had a great time, going back next year to re-live the memories. p.s. use high sun factor cream you will burn !! 24-31 degrees at easter. any Q email me.

    Suprisingly good

Our chosen accommodation was not available so we were re-located to the Vistaflor. Pleasantly suprised, stayed for a week accommodation nice and clean maid came four times turned her away twice as not necessary, loads of clean towels and bedding. Facilities in apartment simple but adaquet, two good size bedrooms plenty of wardrobe space, no bath but double shower. Pool great and clean, kids pool ideal, did not use bar or restaraunt but looked very popular with other residents. Good location for Playa De Las Ingles or Faro 2 CC (short walk) and Maspalomas Beach (short taxi ride, taxi rank close by). Friendly staff, would go back.

    Easter in the Sun

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Vistaflor Bungalows and we had a great time. Weather was excellent, accommodation (we stayed in a one bedroom apartment) was basic but very clean. Kitchen consisted of a fridge and electric 2 plate hob. You could hire a kettle, toaster from Reception for 10 euros each for a week. Maid service was every other day with clean towels and bed linen was changed mid week. Plenty of other staff around (pool maintenance, gardener, etc). Reception and all staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist you. The pool was heated. Nightly entertainment available in the poolside restaurant. Music around the pool area during the day on occasions was a little loud. Altough we didn't actually eat in the restaurant, menu was simple. Not expensive bar prices. Convenient base for exploring local area. Would certainly visit again.

    Pool staff great

Just got back from staying at vista flour for 10 nights. I wasnt very happy with cleaning facilities, i feel bedsheets should have been changed on a daily basic also towles. Allthough the apartmet itself was clean. Bar staff at the pool very friendly. The food was ok but very basic. Also I came across five cockroaches in the kitchen area of my apartment.

    Good Spot

We spent a week in the Vistaflor in late September and had a very enjoyable time. Both restaurtants were very good value and the entertainment at night time was very enjoyable. Snacks are provided during the day beside the pool at reasonable prices. Drink was very reasonable both at the Bar and in the local supermarkets. Pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds. Apartments are really suitable for 2 people any more and it is a bit cramped. They could also do with tea or coffee making facilities. Overall a very good resort and we plan to return.

    Excellent facility

Just back from a week at the Vista Flor. Very enjoyable. Spotless facility. Lots of staff ( apartment cleaning , gardner , pool cleaning , maintainence ). Towels changed every other day. No Kettle or microwave provided. TV has € slot. Weather Excellent. Staff were nice and cheery and efficient. Pool was excellent . For 2 adults and 2 children the apartments were a bit small but ok for a week. Very quite neighbourhood. Supermarket was 2 mins away. There is a large Aqua Park a few minutes by Taxi away. Large Shoppping center ( faro 2 ) 5 mins walk away.

Overall very good , we will go again next year.

    Great spot

Just spent a week at Vista Flor and enjoyed every minute of it ,late October and only one overcast day.

Staff were nice and cheery and efficient.

If your room is anyway near the bar don't expect to get to sleep before 1 oclock or later .

Very good buffet resturant downstairs give it a try.

Pool is lovely and big, plenty of sunbeds .

Only one gripe ,the poolside music is far too loud and not suited to a middle aged or older audience ,also the announcements over the PA system are at an extreme level very annoying.

Overall very good ,we would give it another go!

Found the apartments spotless, apartments were very suitable for two people, probably small for three or four people though, bar staff very friendly and entertainment at night time was very good. Really catered for family's. Reception staff were very helpful also. I plan to go back next year because i thought the place catered very well for children and it was a very safe envirnment for my daughter.

just spent two weeks at vistaflor bungalows,

bungalows were spotless, but it should not be advertsied for famillies as they are so small myself, wife and 2 kids felt cramped in them.

no kettle or toaster or microwave, did like the fact you have to hire these essetinals from the reception, especially if you are late getting there you have no way of boiling water. also some of the bungalows are facing another complex of bungalows called dunaflor they are mainly housed by spainish and germans they were extrelmey loud late at night . entertainment at complex excellent beer is cheap, but i would not go back as they were to small

Just spent a week at Vista Flor Bungalows. They were acceptable. That's about it. There was no microwave, no coffee pot and you had to pay to watch TV, the staff were accomodating but not really friendly. The apartments were tired but clean and in fairly good shape.

Arrived at Las Palmas at 10am and it was beautifully warm. We set off through the city to the lovely long beach area. There was a wide promenade are and we walked a couple of km along it and the beach. Had a cup of tea and cake watching the surfers at the break at the end of the beach near the theatre. Walked back into ...

We decided that we needed a day to relax so chose to go to the famous beach on this island. It took us about a 45 minute drive to go to the south end of the island. This island is definitely the most "touristy" of all the islands. They attract millions of tourists per year because it is a short flight from northern Europe, is on the Euro as belongs to Spain, has great warm weather and minimal rainfall and has a high standard of living and ...

They now tower over the high fields and were a pleasant reminder of home for me. Swollen oranges hung from their trees’ sinking branches, the brilliant vermillion leaping forward from deep bottle green leaves.

We docked at Gran Canaria at around 07:00 local time. Clearance was granted at around 08:00, so passengers and crew were able to go ashore shortly afterwards. We were advised that the back on board time was 17:30 local. We disembarked at around 12:45 and walked around the quayside to see for the first time, Britannia's Union Flag bow. The water was very blue and the port had a ...
