... bands all at the ready...I´ve learnt my lesson. Also been told to down 10 pepper corns so will do that too...anything is worth a try.

I won´t be able to update this blog whilst at sea but we will have a boat blog on the arc website where you can also follow the boats progress on the tracker thing. We are hoping to beat pauls last record of 19 days...the shorter the better in my mind!

Today was the last day and i got up early and went for breakfast then did then got a bus to Maspalomas and walked back to Playa del Ingles.
Had a swim in the sea for the last time which was amazing and then back to the hotel to have a shower and pack our stuff for check out at 12 :-(!!
Our flight wasnt till 6:15pm so we went to the Yumbo centre for a drink ...

Today we decided to get a bus to Las Palmas, the first bus stop was the wrong one so had to walk to another bus stop!!



Got the bus and arrived at the station and realised we had got off a stop to early so had to walk about 2 miles to the next one but had a bit good exercise:-)..

Along the way the man picked up a little shell and gave it to us for some reason then we saw a lizzard running into the bushes.

Then we got the bus back to our hotel and had a little snooze then went out for dinner.

We
went to a spanish steak house we had seen which always seemed to have
all the locals in it and i order salad for starter and a steak and

... then went and draged josh out of bed and we walked up the beach 5 miles to Maspalomas, i was swimming in the sea most the way and fighting against the waves which were really big and strong and kept nearly knocking me over.
Early night tonight then it will be my birthday 2moro :-D hoping to go on some sort of boat trip in the next couple days..

... in Maspalomas and looked about the shops didnt
buy anything though all designer shops and cost bout 60 euros for a
t-shirt.. The temperture is 30 degrees and there is not a cloud in the
sky. Got a bus back to the hotel which was a good price. Then went to
reception and they changed us to the 6th floor with a sea view made so
much difffernce and am so happy now cuz josh has stop being grumpy
about it lol .

Competition is fierce, I got here last night and started asking sailors look-alike at the Sailor´s bar on the Muelle Deportivo...

Life is good, even when ...

... Chinese flutist Guo Yue and many others playing in a central park. It doesn’t get much better than that. Maybe I should do festival tours.

But what I remember most I think was my lesson in sociolinguistics. At the hostel where I was staying- and I think it was maybe my first experience with European hostels- the management absolutely refused- I mean refused- to speak Spanish with me, even though I spoke Spanish ...

Durante esses dias, passeamos, fomos ás compras, praia e piscina, comemoooos (muito mais do que deviamos), mas foi tudo muito calmo e correu ás mil maravilhas. (Os meus pais gostam do David)

Tirando a minha irmã Mafalda lhe ter dado uma gastroentrite, foi tudo optimo.. Só faltou o Luís para a Familia estar completa. A companhia da Mónica tambem é sempre muito divertida.

Bom, como podem ver, este será o nosso "caderno" de viagens.
Assim deixarei registado todas as nossas aventuras, para mais tarde recordar. Espero que quem leia este blog se divirta tanto como nós nos divertimos nos nossos destinos. E claro, estão todos convidados a comentar, dar opiniões, sugestões de novos sítios para visitar, etc e tal.
