This did not stop us fro heading out of the bay on Lantau Island, where we decided to go and trek to see giant Buddha. 12km into it over steep gradient, in sweltering heat we later decided to leave this, as we're collets unprepared. Working our way back to the mainland we decided to go to the waterfront and watch the night light show. We achieved a lot, tho did not tick off the list of where mum and gran lived.     ... back to the city followed by a change to take us over the river to Kowloon on the mainland just in time to see the light show that I wasn't that impressed with the other day when up at the peak. It was really good as the buildings are only lit fro one side and designed to be viewed from the mainland looking across the water to Hong Kong island.     ... afternoon by the pool. The pool here is amazing. It's an olympic sized pool with the option to swim lengths or just relax. There's plenty of lounge chairs bathers set around the pool as well so people can tan or socialize.
