    ... This would be a very good opportunity for anyone who has not yet seen a kangaroo. The train that went around the whole sanctuary also made the day very enjoyable as the train provided easy transport around the sanctuary and it was also a very enjoyable ride and you see many animals along the trip.

    Another early wake up. Hit the beach for another big walk. Walked past Dave an Helen Falvey's apartment block in Broadbeach, nice place. After breakie we headed to Byron bay, about an hour an a quarter drive from Surfers. We drove down the coast road, stopping just south of Tweed Heads for fuel and a coffee. Fuel is very cheap here, it's ranges from $1.30 to $1.55 a litre. Cars are also cheaper but registration is about four times dearer than NZ. The road after the coast wasn't ...

    ... road from the beach, to the outdoor shopping malls. As well as shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, loads of outdoor tables and benches, there were loads of attractions around too. So much to do and see! We grabbed a smoothie, which was amazing, then took a drive to Carrara Markets, just down the road which is meant to have over 500 stalls that sell everything, as well as having a pitch n putt and Reptile Kingdom!
